Inspired by true events Stamp Your Feet! The Musical is a new musical comedy about friendship, hardship, love and fighting for justice. Set in a small mining town in Yorkshire it brings to life industrial disputes, power cuts, unrest in the British economy and the emergence of a musical era known as glam rock.

It is 1972 and Johnny Hartley is the lead singer of Save Our Souls, a new band that is experimenting with outlandish outfits and make-up, much to the amusement of the members of the mining community where they regularly perform, and the displeasure of Johnny's father. But they have something, and are given a once in a life time opportunity to audition in front of a top London agent. The only trouble is, Johnny's father is instrumental in the industrial disputes and is striking for more money.   Johnny has a difficult decision to make. Does he support his father in the miners strike, or does he risk everything by doing the audition with the threat of a power cut half way through?
